My name is Lee Bullock. I am a C3 quadriplegic (after being hit by a car as a child). I am the sole creator behind Crossroads County. I live with a severe physical disability where I am paralysed from my neck down to my toes.

I have extremely limited movement and functions and I rely on a team of carers to live my life.

My severe disability limits what my body can do — but it has never limited what I can feel, imagine, or express.

This music comes from within. From memory, frustration, resilience, reflection, and the long stretches of time where sound and thought become my freedom. When physical movement is restricted, emotion travels further. Songs become places I can still go.

Musically, Crossroads County is rooted in classic blues and 1970s-era rock — slow-burning verses, raw guitars, soulful rhythms, and moments of release where the music is allowed to breathe. It’s gritty but restrained, emotional without being forced, and shaped by lived experience rather than trends. It is a sound that I love.

Given my physical restraints, I am unable to play any musical instrument and with my breathing difficulties I am unable to converse for very long (let alone sing a song!). I need to use technology to create. For without technology the creative soul that I have would barely exist.

These songs aren’t written to impress. They’re written because they need to exist. The words are me. The sound is exactly the sound I would create, if I were physically able.

My future dream is to create a full band and bring this music to life! Hope you enjoy!
